Amerigroup Investor Relations Kick Off 2012 with High Honors

Senior Vice President Places in All-America Executive Team

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Thursday, January 19, 2012) – Amerigroup Corporation (NYSE:AGP) is pleased to announce Senior Vice President Julie Trudell, Amerigroup’s investor relations officer, was named part of the 2012 All-America Executive Team by Institutional Investor.

Trudell was named one of the top three Best Investor Relations Professionals in the Managed Care and Health Care Facilities sector as ranked by the Buy Side.

As part of establishing Institutional Investor’s 2012 All-America Executive Team, more than 2,100 professionals in the investment community from 750 firms were asked to identify the Best Investor Relations Professionals among U.S. companies they cover.
Last month, the Amerigroup Investor Relations team received four national honors from Rivel Research Group, a leading firm in assessing investor relations for the S&P 500 and other top firms.  Rivel recognized thirteen firms which honor management teams and investor relations executives who excel in their profession, based on feedback from the investment community. Amerigroup was honored with four awards:

  • Management Access (Winner)
  • Management Capability (Honorable Mention)
  • Overall Impression (Honorable Mention)
